Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms cover your use of Pastors Network at pastorsnetwork.co.uk. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not create an account.

Pastors Network is run by Concentric IT Ltd (company number 05012213), 179 Walmersley Road, Bury, Lancs, BL9 5DF. “We” and “us” mean Concentric IT Ltd. “You” means the person with the account.

 

2. Who can join

Pastors Network is for pastors, elders, church administrators, deacons, lay preachers and guest speakers connected with churches in the United Kingdom. When you join, you confirm that:

  • you are 18 or over;
  • you are joining in connection with a real church or preaching ministry;
  • what you tell us is true and complete.

 

3. How you join

You can register on the website, or join through an invitation from your own church, or when a church adds you as a guest speaker. During pre-launch, churches cannot invite other churches through the platform.

A real person checks every new account before it opens, unless a church’s leaders invited you onto their own team or list. In that case their invitation is the check. We do not have to approve an account, and we may say no without giving a reason.

Keep your password and passkeys safe. Do not share your login. If you think someone else has used your account, email dp@pastorsnetwork.co.uk at once.

 

4. If you lead a church

The person who leads a church on Pastors Network (its “lead”) accepts our Data Processing Agreement on the church’s behalf. You will see it once, before you first reach your Dashboard, and again if it changes. By accepting, you confirm you have the church’s authority to do so. We record who accepted, when, and which version. Until it is accepted, your church cannot add compliance records.

If the lead hands the church to someone else, the church’s acceptance stays in place.

 

5. What Pastors Network does

The tools include: Pulpit Cover and pulpit swaps; the Directory (churches, people and guest speakers); the Calendar; Ask for Help; Notes; Members and milestones; Pastoral Visits and Prayer; Compliance; Processes (such as weddings, funerals and welcoming newcomers); Operations (building and equipment checks); Documents; Serving; BookBuy; Library; QR codes; and email and push notices, including a weekly update.

Tools may change over time. We will tell you before we remove a tool your church uses.

 

6. What it costs

Pastors Network is free during pre-launch.

Once we launch, the paid plans will cost:

  • Solo: £9 a month, or £90 a year;
  • Team: £18 a month, or £180 a year.

Paying yearly costs the same as 10 months, so you get 2 months free.

These stay free for good: lay preachers, and Pulpit Cover and pulpit swaps, the Calendar, Ask for Help, the Directory and Notes.

Churches that join before launch keep their price for as long as they stay subscribed. This applies to the yearly price as well as the monthly price.

We plan to introduce paid plans later. Before we do:

  • we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email;
  • you will not be charged unless you agree;
  • nothing will be switched off or locked while you decide.

 

7. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • keep your details and your church’s details accurate;
  • use Pastors Network only for church life and ministry;
  • treat other people with respect;
  • follow our Acceptable Use Policy;
  • not share your login.

If you add information about other people (for example members, visits or compliance records), you do so for your church. Your church is responsible for having the right to keep it. See our Data Processing Agreement and the member privacy notice template we provide.

 

8. Your information and your content

What you add stays yours, or your church’s. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people the platform shows it to, and copy it in our nightly copies, only so we can provide the service. We do not use it for anything else.

You can download a copy of your own account data at any time: My Profile, Privacy, “Download a copy of my data”.

9. Sermons, photos and other uploads

You keep the rights in anything you upload, such as a sample sermon or a photo. You give us permission to store it and show or play it to the people the platform shows your profile to. You must have the right to upload it.

Your sermon files and photos can only be opened by people signed in to Pastors Network who can see your profile.

If your account is closed, or Pastors Network closes, we delete your sermon files within 30 days.

Do not upload images of DBS certificates. Record the certificate’s details instead.

 

10. Our intellectual property

The platform, its design, its code and its name belong to Concentric IT Ltd. You may not copy, change, share or take apart any part of it.

 

11. Availability

We try to keep Pastors Network running at all times, but we cannot promise it will never be down. We may take it offline for maintenance, updates or a security problem. We will warn you about planned downtime where we can.

 

12. Our liability

We provide Pastors Network “as is”. As far as the law allows:

  • we do not promise it will be free of errors or always available;
  • we are not liable for indirect loss, or for loss of income or savings;
  • otherwise, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100.

This limit does not apply to data protection. Liability between us and a church for personal information is set by our Data Processing Agreement. Nothing in these terms limits anyone’s right to compensation under UK GDPR Article 82.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

 

13. Closing your account

You can close your account yourself: My Profile, Privacy, “Delete my account”. Nothing happens for 7 days, so you can change your mind. After that, we delete your details as our Data Retention Policy describes. If you are your church’s lead pastor and others are still on your team, hand the church over to one of them first, or email dp@pastorsnetwork.co.uk and we will close your account within a month. If you are the only person on your church’s team, deleting your account also removes your church. You will be warned first. If you want a copy of your church’s records, email dp@pastorsnetwork.co.uk before you delete your account.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. Examples include using the platform for business unconnected with church ministry, uploading unlawful material, sharing other people’s information without the right to, or pretending to be someone else. We will email you with our reasons, unless the law stops us.

 

14. Complaints

If you have a complaint about Pastors Network or these terms, tell us first. Email complaints@pastorsnetwork.co.uk, or write to us at the address in section 1. We will acknowledge it straight away and aim to resolve it within 28 days.

If we cannot sort it out between us, either of us may suggest mediation before going to court. This does not affect your right to go to court at any time.

 

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Pastors Network after that, the new terms apply.

 

16. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
